Ward was the first child born to MonroeLouisianaon 15 April, 1976. Monroe Christian School served as her Christian primary school. When she completed the requirements for high school and then attending River Oaks High School in the summer before her junior year. In the school, she was a part of the dance and drill team. She was also a student at Northeast Louisiana University briefly after her graduation. Ward dropped out at 13 and moved into New York so that she could begin modeling. She tried her hand in acting a few years later. In the 1970s, she first appeared in an uncredited character in the soap opera All My Children and was later a part of the short-lived NBC premier-time teen-drama Malibu Shores. The daytime soap Sunset Beach cast Ward as the young Meg Cummings in late 1996. The year 1999 saw her movie career started by playing Brittany Foster (the psychotic Brittany Foster) in the romantic thriller The In Crowd. The film did not make money in theatres but it made a splash on cable television and DVD. Ward played a support role for the role of Shallow Hal the following year. Alongside her direct-to-DVD role, Ward made numerous guest appearances on television programs like Friends. In 2009she was cast as Chloe Kmet, the mother to a little girl on the ABC Family drama Make It or Break It. The personal side of her life is a union with producer David C. Robinson. The couple has one son named Cameron.
