Angela Evelyn Bassett (born April 15th in 1961) is an American actress. Angela Evelyn is an American actress. Bassett was raised in New York New York and was raised by her aunt living in Winston-Salem North Carolina. Bassett relocated with her twin sister in St. Petersburg Florida at the age of five so that they could be near their mom, who was separated from their father. When she was in high school Bassett watched John Steinbeck's drama Of Mice and Men starring James Earl Jones and decided she wanted to pursue a career as an actor. Yale University New Haven Connecticut was where she earned her bachelor's in African American and master's degrees (1983). She met Courtney B. Vance, a fellow actress at Yale and they were married in 1997. Qualification: B.A. degree in African-American studies, 1980. Masters of Fine Arts degree from the Yale School of Drama School: Jordan Park Elementary School Disston Middle School (seventh grade) Azalea Middle School (eighth and ninth grade) Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett currently works in one of her leading parts, Ramonda, in the action-adventure film i.e. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022).
